My wife took my kids and left out of state, what do I do?

I live in TX, and she went to Pennsylvania. Do I go get them, and if so, how? Do I file for divorce??
We are both deaf. She will not contact me nor return my calls when I get my family to contact her family. She went to “visit” her dad and was supposed to come home this week, but now she has depleted the bank account and is avoiding me. We have not even talked about divorce, that is why I am so confused. ??

I took a shower and after i wsh myself I take the showerhead off, turn the water down and give myself enemas in the bathtub. I squat and poop out the water and shit, then repeat until there is no feces left. This is a great way to never have to use a public toilet to defecate.

The problem is my 7 year old daughter snuck into the bathroom to scare me, she flung back the curtain and screamed because i was filling my colon with water at that point, she fell back and hit her head on the sink, I paniced and not thinking went to help her laying on the floor. My wife and 12 year old son ran into the room as I bent over and accidentaly sprayed water and feces all over the bathroom.

5 minutes later my wife has taken both kids and has left for her mother’s house, ALL THREE of them were crying hysterically.

I have no idea what to do, or what to say?

Wasn’t it a better life and time before cell phones and more than 13 channels on TV? My wife and kids used to?

visit friends and relatives with other kids and they would play as kids should and not many were bullies for very long when they did. The younger ones learned more quickly from the older ones than they did in school from monotone teachers with chalkitis. Adults caught up on news and opinions while we played card games or sometimes a great game of Monopoly, women loved their Yahtzee too. It also was no great child abuse to carry a sleeping child out to the car and to get them home and in bed without them waking and it was an acquired skill since lost! Sometimes the power in mass communications is just too demanding and overwhelming to allow us to act like humans again instead of government regulated robots with a constant need to be artificially entertained lest we get bored!

There’s a surveyor from the fence company now, measuring the property around my small cottage, where I’ve been relegated pending divorce paperwork being finalized in the next few weeks. The cottage is to the far southeast of the home my wife will get, about 75 yards away. My lot is a simple 100′x50′, while hers is close to an acre.

I asked the surveyor what he was doing, and he said just getting information for an estimate to build a 6′ wood fence around my little property. I guess my wife doesn’t want to see my dumpy little house from her house, or have me see her.

I could care less about the fence. It’s the silliness. I’ve had to deal with confused kids, who will be living mostly with me in the cottage, and a misplaced au pair, plus I had to buy new furniture for the kids at a local thrift store and move it in. Considering the new covenant brought by Jesus that replaced toramic law..?

Toramic law held that:

A man who engaged in sexual intercourse with a woman who is menstruating was considered unclean for seven days. His bed was also polluted. (Leviticus 15:24)

All right, then why do so many christians (I said so many, not all) feel compelled to follow the TORAMIC stricture of Leviticus when it describes homosexuality as a sin?

If toramic law no longer applies, then homosexuality isn’t sinful. It’s a sin only if you believe eating shellfish is a sin (both are acts which render you unclean, or cause ritual impurity). In other words, both behaviours are grouped together as types of sin. When you come into contact with certain animals or foods, corpses, pagan rites, sexual processes, etc. It is like a contagion; it gets on you. It has nothing to do with motive, intention, or the disposition of the heart. So homosexuality and shellfish, practicing Christmas (a pagan holiday), or being near an unburied body (wakes and funerals, anyone?) are all the same kind of sin. I don’t see many Christians out there trying to prevent the government from giving legitimacy to Red Lobster.

When you pick specific passages to justify a position, and in fact that passage doesn’t apply, you’ve lied ( a sin in both the old and new covenants), plain and simple.

So which is it? Is homosexuality something you’re bigoted against and justify with cherry-picking the scripture, or do you follow the teachings of Jesus, which remove the stain of sin from the issue? Christians against homosexuality, I’m talking to YOU!

My wife is in denial of her online affair?

We have been married for 10+ years, have two wonderful kids, and up until now a great life (I thought).

A little history – she has been frequenting online forums (mostly sex type). I got concerned when I found some nude photos of her on the computer. She claimed they were for me, she just hadn’t sent them yet. This set off red flags for me, so I started poking around her emails and sure enough there was another guy she was involved with. I confronted her about this, and she said it was just games, that it wasn’t real. I asked her to stop, and she said she did. But I still had the feeling something wasn’t right. I found a notebook of hers where she had written some of her feelings about him. Again I confronted her, she said it wasn’t real, and then turned the whole thing on me for not giving her any privacy.

Anyone with any experience with this? I don’t know what to do…

my unwed cuz took care of her 2 daughters for 7 yrs no child support from the father. they went to court for support case, she was told to get lawyer in 2 weeks, shes on ssi/ssd (set income). she didnt so they took kids from her gave to unpaying father who also did time for nonpayment etc. how is this possible,,,he has since moved to other state married older woman who cant have kids and has now left girls behind with her and moved on to someone else…more than a year now he’s been gone…she is filing for child support from my cuz and says he gave her custody of girls …how is it possible ..don’t you need both parents signature for that…she has new court hearing in september in other state…whats her options…she has only wanted her kids back …they didnt let the girls talk with my cuz until few weeks ago after 3 yrs….need helpful advise…..appreciated….does my cuz need lawyer in other state and y government wont step in when other lady isnt real mother…isnt anyone is authority positioned concerned about this…..thanks

She says I am drunk far too much of the time, and that it nearly gave our minister’s wife a heart attack when I jumped out dressed in my khaki and pointed the broom in her face, yelling, “POW! POW!” I don’t think she had anything close to a heart attack; the puddle underneath her proves she was quite healthy.

How can I get my wife to not be so mean to me? She keeps sticking AA pamphlets under the shaving cream can.

My wife has inherited “slob” from her parents and I want to get rid of it!?

My wife and I are in our mid-20′s. I came from a city family with strong hygiene and organizational skills. She came from a city/farm family with strong family values and bonding skills.

The problem really sits on this: I was raised that everything has a home and if we can’t make one than it doesn’t belong in our home. Old love letters from school, old homework, that toy I got from McDonald’s, the video game I beat 3 years ago that I haven’t played since, and all of those kool-aid points I never turned in, if I didn’t make a logical home for it my mom would make me throw it away or sell it. In exchange though I was never abundant with toys, I didn’t have 2,000+ love letters from girls I wouldn’t remember the names of in 15 years, and more importantly I wouldn’t have a mess all over my dresser/table/bed so when company was coming over I wouldn’t have to bust my butt to clean it up! On the hygiene side, I was forced to shower every morning and groom myself daily even if I was just going downstairs to chat all day long on the computer… I didn’t have a cleaning schedule that I had to attend to but I knew what chores had to do be done around the house just to make sure they don’t get gross like dishes washed daily and the bathroom once a week…

My wife on the other hand: She refuses to donate her out-dated unsellable college books or the romance novels she finished reading 10 years ago, she refuses to throw away old homework, she refuses to get a filing cabinet for all her keepsakes, she keeps the sale ad papers for more than the week they are representing, she has no issues having our kids toys all over the house (a 2 year old and a 6), she leaves her “worn once” clothes on the floor since they’re still “clean” next to her side of the bed, she leaves clothes in the basket after washing them so they can get wrinkled, and what drives me the most up a wall is she dresses like a slob too (one of my t-shirts and baggy jeans)!!!! On occasion she’ll even skip showering so she can have more time to spend with the kids doing crafts and watching films… She’ll leave pans that are too big to go in the dishwasher in the sink to “soak” for a few days or until I do them. She never vacuums and we have cats. She’ll invite her “mom’s group” friends over to have a play date with the kids and she’ll procrastinate until the night before to get ready and then she’ll spend all day/night cleaning every room except our bedroom (in which will just have all of the things she couldn’t “put away” in it and the room will be locked while company’s over).

I’ve been dealing with this for 7 years so it’s not like I haven’t been patient. When she’s up north spending time with her parents and takes the kids, I’ll stay back for work reasons and on my day off I’ll spend it throwing away all of the stuff that should’ve been thrown away long ago, sanitizing the house, putting everything in it’s “home”, and basically making it so when they get back home the home is in the “ideal” condition…

The thing is, I don’t want to waste my only day off doing this! I work retail and my days off are very important to me! The problem we have isn’t just that she’s a “slob” but she’s teaching our kids to be “slobs” too and it’s making cleaning up after all 3 of them impossible! I also don’t want my daughter to be a tom boy because her mommy is, if she chooses to be one on her own that’s one thing but to want to be a slob and dress like a man because her mom does makes her a terrible role model in that sense…

I need advice, how do I gain her strong family values but share her my strong organizational skills without pulling my hair out due to stress (or pulling her hair out for being so hardheaded)…

My wife has always claimed to be more “logical” than me. She’s a very quiet woman who prefers to think in her head rather than discuss things out loud. She makes most of her decisions without asking questions or gathering unbiased facts outside of her mind; but the rare occasion that she does get information, she looks on the internet or asks her girlfriends. In her mind, she thinks she’s capable of figuring things out through intuition based on past experiences. She theorizes mentally that these past experiences are still occurring thus she creates her “logic”.

The problem is, she could be 80% correct on the situation, but then she throws her 20% emotional bias (anxiety based) into it and it takes the entire logical reasoning and throws it out the window. She then convinces herself that this is “the truth” and acts accordingly; if you tell her the REAL truth, she tells you that she’s already figured it out in her head and that you’re lying since she “knows the truth”.

Example of my wife‘s logic in action:

Bedevere: Tell me. What do you do with witches?
Crowd: Burn! Burn them up! Burn!…
Bedevere: And what do you burn apart from witches?
Villagers: Wood!
Bedevere:So, why do witches burn?
Villager: Because they’re made of wood?
Bedevere: So, how do we tell whether she is made of wood? Does wood sink in water?
Villager: No. No. No, it floats! It floats!
Bedevere: What also floats in water?
Arthur: A duck!
Bedevere: Exactly. So, logically…
Villager: If she weighs the same as a duck, she’s made of wood.
Bedevere: And therefore?
Villager: A witch!

Okay, so let me finally tell you what happened this morning that caused me to go on this rant:

My wife doesn’t know how to wake up in the morning. She can get 9 hours of sleep (though she doesn’t, more like 4) and she will STILL sleep through her alarm. I wake up at 6 am to start the coffee (sure we have a timer on the appliance but I’d rather wake up to make sure it’s brewing). Her alarm goes off at 7am and if I’m not laying next to her to tell her that the alarm is going off, she will sleep through it.

This morning: She snoozes the alarm 4 times. She gets out of bed at 7:40am. She has a flexible schedule at work so even though she’s scheduled at 9, she can show up at 9:30. She grabs her coffee and slowly drinks it while she plays Facebook games and catches up on what her girlfriends did through the night (because she checks it before bed too and that’s all that would have happened).

It’s now 8:20am when she finally decides she’s done with her coffee and awake enough to get ready for work (meanwhile, I’m getting our kids ready for school because I’m an at home dad). I peak in our master bedroom so I could talk to her and she’s getting dressed without a shower. I’m used to this sort of thing but I told her “that’s disgusting” anyways because I know that she was sweating the night before from all the walking of doing trick or treating with the kids. She didn’t reply.

Since she’s a daily procrastinator, I surprised her when I went shopping last week and bought some “dry shampoo”. She’s been using it for a week now. She went in the bathroom to use it and the can is completely empty… Instantly her troll logic kicks in.

Wife logic (F=fact; O=Opinion):

F: I am not showered
F: Husband made comment about hygiene
F: Bottle of dry shampoo is not working
F: It could be clogged (denial)
F: Make husband try to “fix it”
F: Husband couldn’t unclog it and insists it’s empty
F: If I shower I will be late for work
F: I feel dirty when I don’t shower and I hate the feel of sweat
O: Husband must have wanted to teach me a lesson
O: Husband must want to humiliate me so he emptied the can on purpose
O: Husband set this up because I didn’t think I used it all up
F: Husband denies setting it up
O: I know better because there’s no way I emptied it
O: Husband is known to humiliate me because all men are scum
F: I’m going to call him a bad husband because of my failed logic

I react to her calling me a bad husband and call her a B****. She calls me bipolar because she’s convinced I sabotaged her morning and because I called her a curse word (a few actually) as a reaction to her calling me a bad husband. Mind you, if it weren’t for me being a GOOD husband, she wouldn’t be awake, have coffee, or have dry shampoo in the first place.

We are supposed to start couples counseling Thursday, but during this “fight” she said that she’s not going because she wants a divorce instead. She said that she’s only nice to me as a show for the kids and that she never loved me. We’ve been married for 10 years and met when we were 19/20. Most of the marriage has been sexual with very little intimacy/closeness because she avoids intimate situations. I have been diagnosed with ADHD and NOT bipolar.

What’s your take (besides we are both immature)?

The night before, I put the kids to bed without her help then she wanted to watch tv together for 1 hour. During this time, I rubbed and scratched her back (the entire time) so I could show her that I care. Afterwards, I requested a discussion about our marriage (something I wanted to do) and she blew me off like what I wanted to do wasn’t important.

I can’t NOT be resentful when she continues to disrespect me (but I put up with it anyways because I love her).

Was this a bad idea? Coming on here looking for people to give me input about how to solve the problem? I’m not asking anyone to take sides, I’m asking someone to look at this objectively, analyze the situation, and tell me how I can fix this. My wife of 10 years refuses to contribute to foreplay and expects me to do all the work; what should I do?

I understand that the way a man looks has little to do with what makes a woman “in the mood”; it has more to do with how he treats her, how he helps relax her, how he responds to her, and how much is on her mind. But us men aren’t that way and I think it’s clear what we want (since it’s in every magazine in the magazine rack); we want sexy outfits, radiating confidence, ravishing intimacy, and overall we want to have our very own pornstar when it comes to “the sack”.

With the above said, I think I do my share (and beyond). I rub her back every night, I pop her hard to reach zits, I scratch her back, I make her appointments while she’s at work, I take care of the animals so she doesn’t have to, I do all the laundry and put it away correctly for her, I clean the entire house by the time she comes home from work (I’m the at home parent because of a back injury that has me applying for disability), I make all the meals (except when the pain is too much and I can’t even move), I help the kids do all the homework, I put the kids to bed, I wake the kids up and get them off to school, I give her alone time as much as she needs so she can Facebook with her girlfriends and play FB games, I do all the grocery shopping and I put the groceries away, I do all the dishes, etc… You get the point, I do everything in the household to keep the household running soundly and her stress level down. So based on the above definition of what arouses women, I should be giving her a MAJOR boner right???

No, all this burdened responsibility on my shoulders (and off of hers) hasn’t made her the least bit aroused. Instead of taking the free time to spend with me or the children (but I’m complaining here about me) she spends it socializing with her girlfriends, trying to find apps to organize her life on her phone, play games, and then the spends the rest of the time doing things that are needed like balancing the check book, banking, paying bills, etc…. She’s in the accounting field and takes her work home with her (you can tell by the reports that she has in her accounting waffleware at home that talk about our families fiscal earnings, lol). On the weekends, we spend time with the children but I still don’t get any alone time with her; she doesn’t even dress up for me to try to get ME to come on to her!

Don’t get me wrong, I try to take charge sometimes and instigate something but she doesn’t respond. Like sometimes I’ll give her a random from the back hold and try to kiss her, but she resists and says something like “not now”. I’ll also playfully grope her when massaging her or while she’s on the computer…. I’ll even come out and say it “we should go have sex right now” and she rejects me!!!!

As far as I know, I didn’t do anything to deserve this behavior. I mean, we had a crappy past together before I lost my job and came home, but I’ve spent 1.5 years trying to atone for that and she said that she doesn’t resent me… So if she doesn’t resent me, and we are on equal playing field now (minus me working cuz of my injury), why does she with hold sex??? I mean, we used to have awesome sex before kids, but that only lasted 1 year because she was pregnant fairly quickly (we met in 2001 and had our first child in 2002 — She was 20 when we met and I was 19; making her 30 now)…

So what do you suggest I do??? We are starting couples counseling next month and I hope that’s going to help, but it just seems like she has NO interest in putting the effort into the marriage to attract me to have sexual or even just intimate (closeness) relations with her!!!! All I want is for her to express that she wants me in her life!!! Instead, she dresses and acts in a way that says “what’s the point of trying to attract you, it’s not like you’re going anywhere….”

The last thing is this: Why is it that women want a man to be committed to them sexually, but they never put out sex??? We have sex once every two months. Sometimes it’s more when I nag her (or when I mess with her in the middle of the night and she knows I won’t leave her alone until I’m done) but seriously, what kind of attitude is that??? I thought that women WANTED closeness with their husbands and they WANTED to have a chance to show off how hot they were; why does my wife act like it isn’t important??? I don’t act like her needs aren’t important, so why does she treat me like my needs are “unnecessary to accommodate”?

To Enigma: Testosterone is a hormone that exists in BOTH males and females; the result of having more testosterone would in fact make a person MORE promiscuous and sexually interested (not deny it like the plague). I don’t deny I have low testosterone (I don’t deny I’m a feminine male who is more gentleman than alpha male) but this DOESN’T solve the question so I reported your answer.

I didn’t ask for your sarcastic answers. I came to Yahoo! for realistic solutions to a problem that makes me unhappy in my marriage. I am doing everything that my wife asked me to do to make her happy and she is not returning the favor.

All the things I do for my wife are per request. I don’t volunteer to act like a monkey and pop her zits; she ASKS me to do it. Like I’m her personal slave assistant. But I do it anyways because I want to show to her that I’m willing to do ANYTHING for her (and I would like her to be willing to have no limitations on how to “help” me too – after all, she hates giving oral but if I’m popping her zits which I hate doing so wouldn’t that make her more open to doing it???).
